A lineup of great speakers, headlined by Georgia Congressman Hank Johson. brought messages of inspiration and concern to those assembled, and a warning to those bent on maintaining the status quo of oppression based on the color of one's skin. In order, the speakers were Dr. Rchard Wills, State Senator Nikema Williams, Rabbi Ellen Nemhauser, Rev. Frederick Russell, Imam Nadim Suleiman Ali, Atlanta NAACP 1st Vice President Gerald Griggs, Atlanta NAACP President Richard Rose, Rev. Gerald Durley, Congressman Johnson and Bishop J. D. Guthrie.
